The Bristol Brigade Programs provide season-long coaching for all levels of skiers and snowboarders starting at age 5 to adult. Bristol Brigades are designed to improve your skiing or snowboarding technique, build confidence, and take your skills to a new level. These are educational classes that are loads of fun! Each week is taught by the same instructor and united with the same group of students, you’ll join old friends or make new ones. Students are placed in classes based on their age and skill level. Class sizes range from 8 to 10 students. Requests for a specific instructor or placement with a friend are accommodated to the best of our ability on the first day of class. Brigade participants will also share in a series of fun activities throughout the season.

More Brigade Information

Purchasers of the full-rate program will receive a season pass valid each day of the lesson program as well as the make-up day offered at the end of the season. Season passes are issued in the Guest Services Office during regular business hours. We recommend that Brigade passes be picked up before the first day of class to avoid any delays. Brigade passes are nontransferable and must be visible to lift attendants. Replacement cost for lost passes is $25.

Important: The Bristol Mountain Assumption of All Risks Agreement as well as the Parent Agreement (if participant is under the age of 18) must be signed by the participant and/or parent prior to participation. Students will not be able to participate in the lesson without a completed form.

On the first day of the program, participants must check in at the Snowsports School/Information Desk in the Main Lodge between 8:30 am-9:30 am.

Classes are held rain or shine. If severe weather prevents classes from being held, an announcement will be made on the snow phone, 585-374-1100, along with rescheduled dates.

A make-up ski or snowboard day is available in March the week after the completion of the lesson program. The make-up day allows participants to ski or snowboard on their own and does not include coaching.
