About Us »FAQ's

Bristol Mountain does not permit smoking in any of its structures.

Where can I find information regarding current trail openings and conditions?
Information is posted on the Bristol Mountain Information and Snow Phone and the Bristol Mountain Website as it becomes available.  Please call the snow phone at 585-374-1100 or go to www.bristolmountain.com.  We also provide daily updates to the SANY (Ski Areas of New York) and SnoCountry snow conditions reporting services.

What if I buy my ticket, take a run, and am not happy with the conditions?
If for any reason you are not satisfied within the first half-hour of your lift ticket purchase, we will exchange it for a lift ticket valid for any other day this season.  Simply come into Guest Services to fill out a form and in return we’ll take today’s ticket and give you a voucher that will be good for another day this season.  This guarantee cannot be associated with any discounted ticket product, program, or special.

Does Bristol Mountain have a military discount?
We are offering a Military lift ticket discount for the adult 8-hour lift ticket at the rate of $44 (regularly $54).  This discount is extended to active members with the presentation of their military ID card (discharged, reserves, retired, and family members are excluded).  Regular rental and lesson prices apply.  The discount is valid any day during the operating season.

How do I sign myself or my children up for any of the programs offered at Bristol?
There are a few options.  You can call Guest Services (585-374-6000) during operating hours and sign up over the phone, you can download the form online and mail or fax it in, or you can stop by Guest Services anytime and register for any program.

Why does Bristol make snow during operating hours?
In order to ensure that we can maintain operations through the fluctuating temperatures of the winter season it is imperative that we capitalize on every opportunity to make snow. This applies to any given 24 hour time period and could mean that snowmaking could be taking place during the day, during the night, on weekdays and on weekends.

I’ve purchased a season pass and I need my picture taken.  When and where can I do that?
Until we open for the ski season, you can come down from 12-4 pm on weekends or just wait until the first day you come skiing and stop into Guest Services to get your picture taken.  It’s a simple process; just smile for the camera, your pass will print, and you’ll be ready to hit the slopes!

I’ve bought a Twilight Pass and now I want to ski during the day.  What are my options?
If you are going to ski or snowboard during the day we do require you to purchase a lift ticket.  However, if you feel like you’re going to ski or snowboard regularly during the day, we encourage you to upgrade your pass from a Twilight Pass to a Student Pass or Executive Pass.  All you need to do is pay the difference in price and we’ll get you a new pass!

Can I bring my pets to the mountain?
Bristol Mountain does not allow pets on the property during any season and signage has been placed around the base area reinforcing this policy.

What forms of payment do Bristol Mountain and Roseland Waterpark accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, or Check.

Are the chairlifts wheelchair accessible?
The chairlifts are not wheelchair accessible.
